The Texas A&M softball team is the consensus top-ranked team in the country. The Aggies (37-5), who were ranked third last week by the major polls, moved ahead of Texas (39-5) and Oklahoma (36-4) after both teams lost a pair of Southeastern Conference games while the Aggies extended their winning streak to 12 games by sweeping fifth-ranked LSU.
