    Windows Phone Link is an application that allows Windows 10 and 11 users to link their Android and iOS mobile devices to their PCs. The app has several useful capabilities like displaying notifications and text messages right on your PC. Users can even make phone calls via the Phone Link app. One thing the app currently lacks however is the ability to view a linked devices camera through the app. That may be about to change though as Microsoft is reportedly testing such a feature.

    Samsung Internet now has a desktop app for Windows, available on the Microsoft Store as a free download. And you’ll be glad to know that it’s available for all x64 version Windows 10 and 11-powered desktop and laptop machines, Samsung or otherwise. For those unfamiliar with Samsung Internet, it is an open-source, Chromium-based web browser previously only available for Android and Linux-powered Samsung smartwatch devices.

    Activision has revealed some info on its upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. Specifically, we now have the PC system requirements as well as when preloads for the game will become available. Oh, and the launch trailer shown above. As for those PC system requirements, see below.

    Former Halo developer Bungie has announced staff layoffs in what seems to be an ongoing trend in the gaming industry. Bungie of course is best known as the original developer behind the iconic Halo franchise, and was responsible for Halos 1-3 as well as Halo: Reach. Bungie went on to develop online FPS Destiny and its sequel, Destiny 2. Bungie was acquired by Sony in 2022. It is not publicly known how many Bungie staffers are being let go.

    As another month comes to a close, we now have a new month of Xbox Game Pass releases to look forward to. And even at this early stage it looks like there’s plenty to be excited about for Game Pass in November. Let’s start by getting the bad news out of the way: below are the games that will be leaving Game Pass soon as part of the bimonthly removals. Presumably these removals will occur somewhere around the 15th.
