EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — The notorious Desert Killer, David Leonard Wood, is scheduled for execution next week, more than three decades after a series of brutal murders shook the Borderland. Wood, convicted in 1992 for the murder of 24-year-old Ivy Sussana Williams, was also indicted for the murders of five other women found in the Northeast El Paso desert between June and August of 1987. The victims included girls as young as 14.
