Lake Gibson middle linebacker Malachi Moore remembered the high intensity drills his big brother Quinton Moore went through at The Main Event Camp in 2023 that resulted in an MVP trophy. Back then, Quinton was a Lake Gibson standout middle linebacker, but had just a good amount of buzz within Polk County despite his teams not excelling in the playoffs. After the local annual camp, though, he stormed onto the national scene and now he plays at the University of South Dakota.

AUBURNDALE — Auburndale head football coach Antonio Thomas knew that Fort Meade possessed the championship moxie thanks to the Miners winning the Rural Florida Invitational (RFI) State Football Championship last December of 2024. But this is 2025. And Thomas is trying to have his team carry on momentum the Bloodhounds generated late last year, winning four out of five and eventually ending the year at 6-4.
