    Smoke that arrived Thursday continues to be over the region as we go throughout Friday. Despite mostly sunny skies, it will still have that hazy look in the sky thanks to the smoke. Temperatures stay very warm Friday and into the weekend in the 70s. Saturday and Sunday keep the sunshine and the smoke should clear out a little as the weekend goes on. Next week starts sunny and warm with highs in the mid-70s on Monday, before cooler weather and showers Tuesday.

    The warm weather is back in the region and just in time to kick off the month of June. Saturday ends the month of May on a mostly sunny note, although chances of showers are possible throughout Minnesota during the afternoon. We will also be looking at areas of smoke possible this weekend. Smoke moves in from Canada and affect areas of Minnesota and North Dakota. Air quality could dip at times so stay tuned to the latest forecast and air quality before you head out the door Saturday afternoon.

    Wildfire smoke from up north is making its way through the Duluth area as we head into Thursday afternoon. Air quality will worsen, so if you have sensitive lungs, it's best to limit your time outdoors. Skies will be mostly sunny, but hazy. Temperatures warm up Thursday with highs in the mid-70s. The smoke clears as we go throughout Friday, and temperatures continue to climb to the upper 70s.

    Areas of showers continue for today, and that with the cloud cover help keep temperatures in the mid 60s. We still have a stray shower chance for Thursday, but the sunshine returning gets us back to the mid 70s. Temperatures keep climbing for Friday, with highs in the low 80s and abundant sunshine. The weekend brings continued sunshine and highs in the low 80s, as we end May and kick off the month of June.
