A 6-year-boy Palestinian-American on Chicago area in Plainfield Township was killed because he was Muslim, being stabbed 26 times with a knife. His 32-year-old mother was stabbed too nore than a dozen times but she resisted. The attack is now being investigated by the Department of Justice as a hate crime. Wadea’s mother moved to the United States 12 years ago. A 71 old man, Joseph M. Czuba, is charged with first-degree murder.

At least 12 people were killed and 23 others injured when a speeding private mini-bus hit a container in the early hours of Sunday on Samruddhi Expressway in Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district, formerly known as Aurangabad. The bus driver lost control over the wheels. The deceased include five men, six women and a four months old child. The injured are undergoing treatment at Ghati Hospitals in Vaijapur and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

Hurricane Lidia made landfall Tuesday evening about 70 miles south near Las Penitas in Jalisco approaching to Mexico Pacific coast resort of Puerto Vallarta. California became the first state in the nation to codify President Joe Biden’s new federal guidelines on school nutrition standards aimed at reducing sugar and salt in school meals, after Gov. Five men, airport workers, have been arrested by Australian Federal Police and charged over trying to import 100kg of cocaine from South Africa through Sydney Airport. The drug has an estimated street value of $40 million. They managed to remove five large bags containing cocaine from a container in the cargo hold of an aircraft, transporting them outside an airport freight terminal ahead of selling the drug in Australia.
