The firing of their head coach and general manager right before the start of these NBA playoffs comes to mind most.

The Denver Nuggets' Nikola Jokic and the L.A. Clippers' Kawhi Leonard are both otherworldly basketball superstars who find success in almost entirely different ways. Jokic is the greatest point center of all time, the dominant hub of his team's offense as a playmaker and post scorer. Leonard, meanwhile, simply just makes tough shots. It doesn't matter where he's on the court. If he's in a zone, the ball is probably going through the net.

Grading any NFL Draft in its immediate aftermath is a fool’s errand. Each year, can’t-miss first round picks fail to reach their potential. Guys who once looked like reaches blossom into stars. Overlooked talent slides to the late rounds or goes undrafted before turning into found money for the franchises lucky enough to identify their skill. But, foolish as we are, we’re taking a crack at the 2025 NFL Draft class anyway.
