Kenny Albert will be replacing Sam Rosen as the Rangers play-by-play announcer for next season, according to a report from Mollie Walker of the New York Post. Albert is currently an announcer for the Rangers on the radio alongside Dave Maloney, and has been on MSG Radio since the 1995-96 NHL Season. Albert is also an announcer for NHL on TNT, MSG Networks, and FOX Sports, calling NHL games for Fox from 1995-1999 and currently multiple sports for the same network.

I’ve been dealing with a lot the last month and a half but I have so many feelings & thoughts about this Rangers season. I’m filled with disappointment & can really feel the cloud of dread. Drury has so much work ahead of him & I don’t trust him to make the right decisions.
