I was in the Montreal Forum for the famous Eric Desjardins Marty McSorley illegal stick goal in the ‘93 cup final. To me the best story on the Canadiens that year was Mario Roberge,on recall from AHL Fredericton, who had played Sr. Hockey in NL prior to winning the Stanley Cup.

Between-period nterviews on hockey games are completely useless. The players say nothing. Of course, they are schooled by communications ‘professionals’who teach the athletes not to rveal under any circumstances their true feelings or emotions.
