COLUMBUS, Ohio — A former firefighter in Fairfield County was indicted Tuesday after he stole hundreds of thousands of dollars for four years from a firefighters’ union. Eric Taft, who served as the union's secretary/treasurer, was accused of stealing $200,000 from the union. He was charged with aggravated theft and tampering with records, according to an indictment.
