Local Segway Powersports distributor Urban Moto Imports has previewed a wild new sports side-by-side model, with the sinister Super Villain breaking cover at a recent dealer demo day in Tallarook, Victoria. And because it technically falls into the utility vehicle category, courtesy of its rear tray, it could be eligible for farm registration, depending on local regulations.

Back in April I had a set of Bendix Ultimate 4WD Brake Upgrade kits fitted to my 2007 Toyota Prado at Bendix partner, Fulcrum Suspensions. And while I was in the Fulcrum Suspensions workshop in Pakenham (Vic), the team there asked if I’d be interested in also giving its Formula 4x4 suspension a go. Now I must admit I hadn’t come across Formula 4x4 at the time and I had been quite happy with the suspension already on my Prado – Old Man Emu gear, as it happens.

It’s been a few months since I had the front and rear Bendix Ultimate 4WD Brake Upgrade Kits fitted to my 2007 Toyota Prado, and I’ve done a good stretch of driving since then to assess the gear’s impact. While the majority of those kilometres have been on sealed roads in and around Melbourne, I’ve also hooked up the family camper trailer and spent some time off-road in my local state forest, as well as a stint in Victoria's High Country for good measure.
