COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Columbus police focused on the "what if" on Thursday, training to respond to an active shooter emergency. Officers told ABC 6 that the training is vital. The group gathered at Polaris Mall for the training. Dressed in tactical gear, weapons at the ready, Columbus police and Columbus Fire first responders were on high alert in and around Polaris Mall Thursday.
