    Anders Garvey collected two hits and four RBIs to lead the Exeter Post 32 Senior legion team to a 7-6 triumph over Dover on Friday night at Phillips Exeter Academy. Thad McConnell also had two hits for Post 32 (2-1), which had 10 hits in the game. Exeter starting pitcher Zach Hill allowed three runs on three hits in five innings. Finn Mussulman tossed the final two innings. Exeter led 6-1 through four innings and 7-3 after five, but Dover scored twice in the sixth and once in the seventh.

    Despite being limited to five hits, the Salem Post 63 Senior legion team earned a 5-3 victory over Exeter Post 32 at Salem High School on Thursday. Kevin Hardy had three of Salem’s five hits. Owen Doherty collected the two other Salem hits. Salem (1-1) trailed 3-2 until it scored twice in the bottom of the fifth. Post 63 added a run in the sixth. Dom Toscano earned the win for pitching three innings of relief. He allowed a run on three hits, walked two and struck out four.
