More than 40 people, including four children, were injured after a car crashed into pedestrians during Liverpool FC's Premier League trophy parade in the English city of Liverpool on Monday. A 53-year-old white British man has been detained, the police said, according to Sky News. According to the North West Ambulance Service, 27 people were taken to four hospitals in the area, two with serious injuries. Additionally, 20 others were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Numerous emergency vehicles are on the scene.
