The new line of iPhones was just unveiled at Apple’s iPhone 15 event. They promise to be the “strongest, fastest, and pro-est iPhones ever,” The Verge reported. The phones in question: iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. There’s finally a USB-C port that replaces the Lightning Cable – bad news for old iPhone users whose devices may, in the near future, become obsolete, much like wired earphones did when the headphone jack disappeared from iPhones.

Laxmidhar Behera, IIT Mandi’s Director, reportedly asked students to stop eating meat because it’s causing landslides in Himachal Pradesh. “It is having landslides, cloudbursts and many other things again and again, these are all effects of cruelty on animals… people eat meat,” he said, adding that butchering animals has an effect on environmental degradation. At face value, the meat industry does contribute significantly to greenhouse gases.

Reality TV contestant Pradhyuman Maloo has been accused of domestic violence, according to a Hindustan Times report. Maloo appeared on Netflix’s Indian Matchmaking, a show in which matchmaker Sima Taparia tried to set up arranged marriages between young Indians. While Taparia did not manage to find him a suitable match, Season Two of the show saw Maloo getting back with his then-girlfriend, Ashima Chauhaan.
