While I have always respected the opinions expressed by this publication’s Editorial Board, I feel compelled to voice my disagreement with the Oct. 23 editorial, “Chief Judge Wilson bucks history,” calling into question the change adopted by the seven-member state Court of Appeals in the procedure for substituting a judge from outside the court when one of the court’s judges (usually due to a recusal) is unable to participate in a particular case.
