Subaru released technical specifications for the new, Japanese-market Forester, and there’s a cool feature available in the SUV’s home market that hasn’t been announced for America yet. It’s a big, U-shaped airbag that deploys from the upper edge of the hood to protect cyclists. While pedestrian airbags have been around for over a decade, Subaru claims its cyclist airbag is a world first.

The retro-inspired ID Buzz is one of the most joyful Volkswagen models since the New Beetle made its debut for 1998. Just look at it: It’s happy, it doesn’t take itself too seriously, and it puts a smile on everyone’s face. But it’s ultimately a big van, so it was bound to end up doing big van things, even when they’re not exactly cheerful. There’s a funeral home in Texas that figures the ID Buzz makes the perfect hearse.

It’s a 1988 962C with an extensively documented racing career, and you don’t even need to bring a trailer. While this car was designed solely for racing, it’s now street legal.

Chrysler is celebrating its 100th birthday in 2025, but there’s not much in its portfolio that’s truly worth celebrating. It sells one car: The family-friendly Pacifica minivan, which is also marketed as the Voyager. The plan isn’t to let Chrysler wither on the vine for another 100 years, and the company’s CEO, Chris Feuell, revealed that future Chrysler models will include a halo model inspired by the sleek-looking Halcyon concept.
