Most of them have analyzed the mechanical mechanism of water inrush in submarine tunnels based on the theory of rock mass limit equilibrium, and given the formula of critical water pressure for water inrush in submarine tunnels [1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12].

Reliability prediction is often plagued by small sample size; thus, Bayesian inference methods have been sought to rescue. This article, hereafter referred to as the TLNM paper, gives a systematic review of how to select and specify prior distributions for Bayesian reliability prediction and provides many excellent suggestions to reliability engineers and Bayesian practitioners. I congratulate the authors for presenting such a well-rounded and insightful paper.
