This is an analytical cross-sectional observational study conducted between 2019 and 2020, involving 398 non-institutionalized adults and elderly people, of both sexes. The analysis of data from the first phase of the study “Food Insecurity, Health and Nutrition Conditions in Adult and Elderly Population of a Northeastern Brazilian Capital: Brazuca Study (Brazilian Usual Consumption Assessment) conducted in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte (Brazuca Natal Study).
