Switching from disposable period products to a reusable menstrual cup or disc has many benefits. But as with trying anything new, you may experience some hiccups. Adjusting to a new period product can be challenging, at least in the beginning. Overall, cup evangelists say it’s worth a few messes and that anybody considering switching from pads and tampons should stick with a cup or disc for a few cycles before giving up.
