MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) -A woman is accused of pointing a gun at a 9-year-old and pulling her into an apartment by her hair. Erica Beal is charged with aggravated assault, especially aggravated kidnapping of a child, aggravated child neglect, and theft of property. On Friday, April 18, at 4:55 a.m., a woman told officers that Beale pointed a gun at her and her 9-year-old daughter outside of an apartment on Mosby Avenue.

James Wingo was arrested by U.S Marshals and the Memphis Police Department on Front Street on Monday. He is charged with aggravated battery. MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A 20-year-old was arrested and charged with shooting and killing a man. Deangelo Alford, 20, was charged with first-degree murder. On Friday, April 18, at 11:45 p.m., officers responded to a shooting on Ethel Street in the Orange Mound area. Officers found a victim. He was pronounced dead on the scene. Police say that the victim knew the suspect. Investigators identified Alford as the suspect in this case. On Monday, Alford was taken into custody and charged.
