Jackson dentist receives $91,000 water bill due to clerical error

Dr. Deidra Snell, a dentist in Northeast Jackson, was shocked to receive a $91,000 water bill, which was later corrected to $190.52 after JXN Water discovered a clerical error.The JXN Water website — the portal to check or pay the bill — was offline for "routine maintenance" for much of Wednesday. That page went blank shortly after 16 WAPT started asking questions about why one business owner got a bill for more than $91,000."When I saw that number I thought it wasn’t real," Snell said.
