A night that brought so much but little at the same time; Magdalena Bay‘s weird and wonderful show was something to enjoy, but we were still asking for more.  Consisting of Mica Tenebauam (lead vocalist) and co-friend Matthew Lewin (producer with a slight touch of vocals), Magdalena Bay have continued to rise following their acclaimed sophomore album ‘Imaginal Disk’.

Part of War Child’s wonderful work, Day of the Girl, was brought to life by independent riser Bree Runway. Following a year of ups and downs, Runway has come out on top with an electrifying show, and one that proves in years to come that she will be a headliner to the many. Supported by the upcoming act Brazy, Runway took to the stage with a clean backdrop aligned by a series of striking white lights and high production, as eager fans show their loyalty to an artist who is ready to break through.

Headline by electro – dance Kaytranada and acclaimed singer – songwriter Mitski, the days were supported by the likes of Victoria Monet, Tems, Ethel Cain and Beabadoobee. Now in its seventh year, All Points East (or for many regulars, known as APE) continues to do what’s best as 45,000 partygoers ventured to Victoria Park for a jam-packed weekend that led people from one stage to another, and that’s no lie. Even I felt like I was doing a marathon.

UK’s most popular Pride festival continues to be a hoot with leading girl group Girls Aloud, hitmaker Mika and everyone in between stealing the show. Fulfilled with joy, the first weekend of August kickstarted with their annual Pride parade that included a series of charities, community groups and small businesses coming together in unity, followed by two days of Pride Village Party that allowed partygoers to let themselves free with no judgment.
