Roy Eidelson – TRANSCEND Media Service 1 May 2025 – Psychologists Against Antisemitism (PAAS) is an Israel advocacy group, with the profession of psychology as its principal target. I find the name rather deceptive, but I think lately their primary mission has become rather obvious: to shout “Antisemitism!” whenever they encounter any form of opposition to the ongoing genocidal assault against the Palestinian people.

What is it about? The dangers posed by the antisemitism of white nationalists and similar groups encouraging violence against Jews are very real and should not be ignored or minimized. Unfortunately, however, more prominent and deceptive claims of antisemitism have been weaponized against supporters of Palestinian rights by those who want to silence legitimate criticism of Israel.
