Florida State brings back one of the country’s most productive pass rushers in Jared Verse as the centerpiece of its Edge group in 2o23. It’s a heck of a starting point as Verse, in his first season at the Power 5 level after jumping up from the FCS, was fourth nationally in Pro Football Focus’ Win Rate metric (22.6%) and 19th nationally in sacks (9) despite playing through a knee injury for most of the season.
