Media organisations like ABP News, News18 and Zee News, published reports about Operation Sindoor. They carried pictures of an individual named Maulana Mohammad Iqbal and claimed that he was a 'terrorist' from Pakistan in Poonch, along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir. Zee News and News18 India later deleted the posts after getting called out by social media users.
