Four players reached double digits including senior guard Elijah Harley and sophomore forward Brody Bruns, who combined for 36 points as the Hubs took down the Cardinals 74-60 in their nonconference varsity basketball matchup.

OTTAWA — Senior Cassidy Vincent fired a match-best 576 series on Thursday night, when the Rochelle Lady Hubs concluded their Interstate 8 Conference dual schedule against Ottawa. Junior Kylie McCullough rolled a 468 series for the Lady Hubs, who conceded all three games during their 2,687-2,449 loss to the Pirates at Dettore’s Town Lanes.

ROCHELLE — Senior Cassidy Vincent broke the 200 mark twice and rolled a 612 series to lead the Rochelle Lady Hubs during their varsity bowling match against Kaneland on Monday night. Junior Kylie McCullough fired a 521 series for the Lady Hubs, who were unable to overcome a massive individual performance from Kaneland’s Preslee Sutherland, who shot a match-best 705 series as the short-handed Knights defeated Rochelle 2,664-2,586 at T-Byrd Lanes.

ROCHELLE — Sophomore forward Brody Bruns earned a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds, while junior guard Van Gerber added 13 points and three assists to lead the Rochelle Hubs during their nonconference varsity basketball matchup against Streator on Saturday. Rochelle struggled from the field, shooting under 32 percent while committing 18 turnovers as the Hubs fell to the Bulldogs 63-38.
