FRIDAY NIGHT: Skies will begin clearing out late evening following a mostly cloudy, cool, breezy day. We’ll see a clear and chilly start to our Saturday with lows in the 20s. SATURDAY - SUNDAY: Sunshine returns just in time for the weekend! Saturday will feature lighter winds as well. The morning will be chilly in the 20s, and highs warm into the low 50s to middle for most. Easter Sunday will be warmer into the upper 50s and mid 60s, with a south southeast breeze with gusts to 25 mph.

FRIDAY NIGHT - SATURDAY: A cold front from Canada swept through our region during the morning hours bringing a few snow showers. Snow showers are moving out and skies have been clearing. Strong northerly winds, gusting above 30 mph, have knocked temperatures into the upper 20s to mid 30s, feeling even cooler because of the winds. It will feel quite chilly through the evening and overnight hours. Winds will diminish by this evening and overnight hours.

MONDAY EVENING: Temperatures in the upper 40s to lower 50s for much of the region has been the story on this early March Monday. It’s easily been the warmest day of the season for most locations under a mostly sunny sky. Tonight, clouds will take over with moisture from a Colorado low developing in the central plains lifting into the southern RRV and southern Lakes Country. There is an isolated shot at a sprinkle or light rain shower in west central MN.

THURSDAY NIGHT: A sunny start to our Thursday transitioned into a cloudy afternoon for most of the region. This cloud cover held temperatures below what we’ve seen over the last few days with the exception of the James River Valley and southern Red River Valley where temperatures have climbed well into the 40s to lower 50s. OVERNIGHT: Temperatures will drop below freezing for almost the entire region as we go through the overnight hours. With the snow melt from Monday, it may lead to some scattered areas of ice on the roads as we start our Tuesday commute. Clouds will build in overnight with some areas of fog possible resulting in some reduced visibilities. Morning temps will be in the low 20’s in the north to the upper 20s to near 30 in the southern valley.

Okay...so how does this thing work again?

Monday will be windy and warm with highs in the middle 50's. A strong cold front will bring wind, showers, and cooler highs on Tuesday.

I'm excited! Sunday will be sunny with many towns hitting highs in the 50's! Expect 50 in Missoula and 48 in Kalispell.
