    Reading in bed one night, my wife leaned over and said, “You do read a variety of books, don’t you?” Um, well, yes, I do. When I finish one book, I find another one usually calls out to me. Maybe related to the previous book, maybe totally unrelated. When a book summons, I heed the call. That approach – reading by daemon or whim – may not work for everyone.
