I recall that after we went to press, following months of brainstorming, collaboration and hard work, the buzz in the office subsided and it was very quiet. But one day my office phone rang.     Hyatt Hotels and RLH Properties are rebranding Andaz Mayakoba Resort Riviera Maya to Alila Mayakoba, which will mark the Alila brand’s entry into Latin America and the Caribbean. Andaz Mayakoba Resort Riviera Maya is expected to suspend operations on March 2, 2025 and debut as Alila Mayakoba later this year. Both Andaz and Alila are Hyatt brands.
