Tax Day is tomorrow. And if you've waited until the last second to file, don't worry — the Internal Revenue Service isn't going to scold you. In fact, IRS is willing to give you an extension on your federal taxes. Well, kind of. In the week following President Donald Trump's announcement of sweeping tariffs, the S&P 500 briefly flirted with bear territory — defined as a 20% decline from recent highs — as worries swirled that the levies would reignite inflation and set off a trade war that could slow the global economy. The selloff continued at open on Monday, with the index falling another 4% in early trading and even flirting with bear market territory — defined as a 20% decline from recent highs.
