FORT MYERS, Fla. – Florida Gulf Coast University softball will honor Avery Viancos and Maria Angelino at Senior Day on April 19 on the third game of the series against Stetson. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m. with the ceremonies starting about 20 minutes prior. The first two games will be part of a doubleheader on Friday starting at 4 p.m.FGCU leads the all-time series against 31-25 but lost the series in DeLand earlier this year, only winning one game.

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Florida Gulf Coast University men's tennis earned three Atlantic Sun Conference honors, the conference announced today. Hugo Magnusson was a unanimous first team selection, Guglielmo Stefanacci was a second team selection and CJ Smith was named to the All-Freshman team. Sophomore Hugo Magnusson was named to the All-ASUN team for the second straight year. The Swedish sensation was a second team and all-freshman team last year.

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Florida Gulf Coast University men's tennis will travel to Jacksonville to compete in the 2025 Atlantic Sun Conference men's tennis tournament hosted by North Florida. The Eagles enter the tournament as the three seed. FGCU (12-13, 6-2 ASUN) opens their tournament at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 17 against Bellarmine (7-11, 3-5 ASUN). The Eagles and Knights faced each other this past Friday.

Florida Gulf Coast University women's golf won the 2025 Atlantic Sun Conference Championship on four playoff holes and Lousiane Gauthier won the ASUN individual championship with a three-round score of even-par to win by four strokes for the first ever team or individual ASUN championship. The Eagles started the third round 10 strokes back of first place Lipscomb in third place with Stetson one stroke ahead of them in second place.

Lousiane Gauthier weathered a windy day in Huntsville, Ala. to place second after round two as Florida Gulf Coast University women's golf is third, 10 strokes behind the leaders. Conditions presented significant difficulties for all teams. The Eagles were able to handle the elements admirably as the team with the second closest performance to their round one performance of any team that shot lower than 20-over par in round one. Gauthier shot 1-over during round two with two birdies to end her round.
