Sun Prairie East junior wheelchair track and field athlete Megan Egstad is a state champion. She made the trip to UW-La Crosse's Veterans Memorial Stadium on for the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) state meet on Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7 carrying some earned confidence. The year prior, she'd placed first in the 400 meter dash, 800 meter run, and shot put. As good as she'd been, her prior success brought with it some pressure to repeat.

The Waterloo track and field program was well represented at the 2025 Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) state meet. The Pirates sent a trio of athletes to the event, which was hosted at UW-La Crosse's Veterans Memorial Stadium on both Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7. The Marshall track and field program sent four events to the 2025 Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) state meet. The event was hosted at UW-La Crosse's Veterans Memorial Stadium on both Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7. The day was a crowning achievement for senior Brady Stensven, who was taking on the state tournament for the third time in his high school career.
