Quick; really quick!” Elise Ha, a salon owner in Ramona, said. “It gave everybody an opportunity to think about if they’re going to be prepared, prepare for the next one or the Big One,” Stephen Rea, Assistant Dir. of San Diego County Office of Emergency Services, said. But running outside right away as the ground is shaking may not be the safest and wisest thing to do.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — After recent incident between a dog and a coyote, city and wildlife officials are urging those taking their dogs outdoors to have caution. Coyotes are all over Idaho. They aren’t just in the wild, but they are also close to urban areas as well. Terry Thompson, the Regional Communications Manager with the Idaho Department of Fish and Game said normally, coyotes are timid and shy.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — As the weather gets warmer, you will not be the only one trying to enjoy the outdoors in the Magic Valley. Many insects start emerging around this time of year. Bug B8 Pest Control CEO David McVay said we had an abnormally warm winter, which led to insects reproducing throughout the season. He expects to see more pests this year. McVay said homeowners should look for wasps and other spiders around the house.
