So many folks across Southern Indiana have outdoor plans for Easter weekend, and, thankfully, the weather forecast for that period has been improving over the past several days. A warm front that moved through on Thursday will continue to pay dividends through the weekend as that warm air stays in place. This means we’ll start out with lows in the 60s Saturday morning and end up in the 70s by the afternoon. kAm~?6 :DDF6 H6’== ?665 E@ >@?:E@C @?

It’s a relief to have active weather in our rearview mirror just in time for the weekend. Temperatures Saturday morning will start off on a cold note as we see lows near and just above the freezing mark as the sun rises. By the afternoon we’ll count on plenty of sunshine as high pressure becomes anchored overhead, clearing out the clouds for us.

The final round of severe thunderstorms and heavy rain will make their way through Southern Indiana Saturday, bringing with them the possibility of more wind damage and significant flooding. Storms moving through Saturday morning could very well be strong to severe in our area, but it’s Saturday afternoon and evening when the main threat of severe weather exists.
