Ouabache State Park recently welcomed a new baby bison to their American Bison Herd Exhibit. One of the things I love about Indiana is the number of state parks offering fishing, swimming, boating, and nature-watching opportunities. Ouabache State Park, located along the Wabash River near Bluffton, offers all of those things and more. However, if you decide to stop by the park soon, you'll definitely want to spend some time admiring the wildlife.

The year 2020 was a challenge for everyone, but there was one documentary released at the time that gave us all something else to focus on, at least for a short while. When Netflix's Tiger King hit TV screens, I told myself I would never watch it because it looked utterly ridiculous. Well, upon running out of things to do in isolation, I decided to give it a try, and yes, it was even more ridiculous than I could have imagined. That said, I was glued to the screen for all eight episodes.

Princeton firefighters recently took time out of their day to pull out all the stops in an attempt to rescue a poor kitten trapped in a storm drain. Nobody likes to see an animal in trouble, including myself. I was on vacation in Georgia roughly 13 years ago when someone doing some trapping nearby managed to accidentally bag two stray kittens. They were clearly siblings, but one was a dark blackish-brown color and the other a mild gray.
