It is no secret that I loved the first two seasons of Invincible. It was a show that took the superhero animated series and turned it into something anyone could dive into, with deep lore, complex characters, and more gore than I ever thought possible from a cartoon. With Invincible Season 3 now here, it takes the gauntlet and runs with it, delivering more of what the past two seasons offered—only this time, with battle-hardened characters who are less naive to the world around them.

After over two years since the jaw-dropping events of season one, Invincible has finally returned with the second half of its sophomore season, and it is fantastic. Just like the comic the show is adapted from, the Prime Video animated show continues to subvert expectations and push the boundaries of what a superhero story can be.
