Seven American stealth bombers flew roughly 37 hours to bomb Iran's nuclear sites over the weekend. The Pentagon called the Operation Midnight Hammer bombing run the longest B-2 Spirit flight in decades. The record for the longest B-2 bomber flight belongs to Melvin Deaile and Brian "Jethro" Neal, two retired Air Force pilots who in October 2001 flew a 44-hour flight, executing one of the first bombing missions into Afghanistan in the wake of the tragic 9/11 terror attacks.

The US military relied on two of its most elusive and secretive combat platforms to carry out strikes on Iran's top nuclear facilities, a top general revealed Sunday. Gen. Dan Caine, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said on Sunday that seven US Air Force B-2 Spirit stealth bombers dropped 14 heavy bunker-buster bombs on the facilities as part of a secret, highly complex operation the previous night.

New satellite imagery reveals damage at the Fordow nuclear facility in Iran after US military aircraft bombed the site. In the images, which were captured on Sunday by the US commercial satellite imaging company Maxar Technologies and obtained by Business Insider, several large holes or craters can be seen on a ridge over the underground complex at Fordow, south of Tehran.
