INGOMAR The South Pontotoc Lady Cougars (15-4) fell to the Ingomar Lady Falcons (17-1) 55-39 on the road last Tuesday. INGOMAR- The North Pontotoc Lady Vikings fell to the defending 1A state champion Ingomar Lady Falcons 67-35 last Tuesday. Senior guard Cadie Jo Byrd got the night started for the Lady Falcons when she knocked down a three-pointer. Senior guard Macie Phifer then drove in to make the score 5-0. Sophomore Ava Anderson put the Lady Vikings on the board, with the assist coming from Madi Coltharp. Senior Tasia Scott would tie the game at 5-5 after her three-pointer fell. kAm!9:76C H@F=5 E96?

ECRU– The North Pontotoc Vikings fell to the Wheeler Eagles in double overtime 84-80 on November 22 despite a stellar night from junior Deanthony Slaughter who led the team with 27 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 7 steals. Senior Brayden Brown finished the game with 19 points, and junior Drew Winfun finished with 17 points. Kentner would find Winfun for three to start the second quarter for the Vikings.

ECRU– The North Pontotoc Lady Vikings basketball team dropped a 56-39 contest to the Wheeler Lady Eagles in action just before the Thanksgiving holiday on November 22. Wheeler came out connecting on shots early in the first quarter, jumping out to a 13-1 lead and forcing an early timeout. The Lady Vikings would trail 21-6 after the first quarter.

PONTOTOC– The North Pontotoc Vikings defeated the Pontotoc Warriors in boys soccer on Monday, November 4th, prevailing in penalty kicks after an exciting back and forth matchup.
