PITTSBURGH, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Steelers have found a new quarterback, and no it’s not Aaron Rodgers or Sheduer Sanders. Instead the Black and Gold selected Ohio State signal caller Will Howard in the fifth round with the 185th pick. Howard led the Buckeyes to a national championship last season. Led by Howard, Ohio State was second in the Big Ten, averaging nearly 36 points per game. On the season Howard completed 73% of his passes and threw for 4,101 yards with 35 touchdown passes.

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (WTAJ) — Penn State won a thriller 3-2 in overtime over UConn to advance to the Frozen Four for the first time in program history. Goals were tough to come by with Huskies goalie Callum Tung stopping 38 of 41 shots while Arsenii Sergeev turned aside 42 of 44 shots. The scoring began early though with Joey Muldowney finding the back of the net just three minutes into the game to put UConn up 1-0.
