There are some out there who have a lot of questions about USC head coach Lincoln Riley, and just how good he is at his job. Most won’t question his prowess as an offensive play caller, however. Riley is one of the very best offensive minds on the college football or NFL level. You also can’t push back on Riley’s resume with the quarterback position. Whether it’s Baker Mayfield, Kyler Murray, Jalen Hurts, or Caleb Williams, Coach Riley has tutored some really darn good ones over the years.

The Oregon Ducks are coming off of their finest season under head coach Dan Lanning, ending with a 13-1 overall record. That 2024 season ended with a disappointing playoff rematch against Ohio State, but Oregon was also able to win their first Big Ten championship. The trajectory for the program is in a strong place, at lest it seems. The 2025 college football season is going to be one to watch closely with the Ducks while having to reload this roster in a major way.

When you think of the USC Trojans under head coach Lincoln Riley, you think of offense, offense, and more offense. It’s almost to a fault. The team has had some explosive offensive playmakers over the years. That includes the likes of wide receivers Jordan Addison, Brenden Rice, Tahj Washington, and Zachariah Branch. While USC said goodbye to a couple of talented pass catcher this past offseason, wide receiver should once again be a major strength next season.

I think he can definitely stick at tackle… but he can also be very good inside, which raises his floor. Moves very easily for a player his size, and boasts a great anchor. COD is slightly below average, so he can be victim to inside counters.

@RiseNDraft Aireontae Ersery, can he stick at left tackle?

Impressive physical talent… flashes are better than any defensive lineman in this class. Motor runs too hot and cold. Serious off the field concerns. I can’t trust the player if I can’t trust the person. I’ll let someone else take that chance.
