FEARS- Chocctastic could be gone by Christmas (Image: Choccotastic) A LEDBURY chocolate firm has said it will be closed by Christmas unless trade improves. Choccotastic, the chocolate shop and tearoom at The Homend Mews, has revealed last week's trade was their worst for years, meaning it is looking likely they won't be able to stay open in the new year. And now they have issued a desperate plea for help to ensure they don't lose the 'heart and soul' of the business.

MISSING- Police are searching for David Powell (Image: West Mercia Police) A DO not approach message has been issued as police search for a missing man from Ledbury. An appeal has been put out to help find David Powell, who has been reported missing from Ledbury. The 46-year-old was last seen on Fairfields Road in Ledbury yesterday (Thursday, November 14). The public are asked to not approach David and to call 999 immediately quoting 00180_i of 15 November.

INJURED- The crash left Elizabeth Donowho unable to walk. (Image: PA) AN AMERICAN who drove into a Malvern nurse, leaving her with severe injuries before fleeing the UK has been jailed. Issac Calderon, 23, tried to escape justice after the crash by flying back to the States but was later extradited. He was sentenced to 32 months in jail today (Thursday, November 7) at Worcester Crown Court for causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

PANIC- A mad rush took place to grab a dog seen running on the M5 junction 5 near Droitwich. (Image: Motorway Traffic Cameras) A DOG seen running around the M5 caused panic as a desperate scramble ensued to bring it to safety. The dog, believed to be a white poodle, was being tracked along the M5 by police, National Highways and members of the public on Saturday, November 2. At one point it was seen heading for Catshill.

(Image: Street View) ANGRY Malvern parents organised a 'train rescue' to pick up their children from the railway station after a signalling fault caused commuter chaos. Trains travelling between Great Malvern, Ledbury and Hereford were disrupted from Tuesday, leading parents to set up a WhatsApp group to organise for children stuck after college.
