    Mr. John “Jack” Jacob Troutman IIpassed away peacefully New Year’s Eve with his wife, Gail, at his side. Jack was born to John and Isobel Troutman in Oil City, Pa., in 1949.He grew up in Everett, Pa., and graduated from Everett Area High School in 1967. He graduated from Penn State University in 1971 with a degree in aerospace engineering.

    Mrs. Kathryn W. Woodall, 74, died on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025, at Walter Reed Convalescent Home. Born in September 1950, she was a daughter of the late Dolly W. DeBoodt and stepfather, Julius A. DeBoodt, and the foster child of the late Ann S. and Arthur A. Bays. Kathy graduated from Bayside High School in Virginia Beach in 1968 and later attended Eastern Shore and Thomas Nelson community colleges.

    Mrs. Michele J. Wernsmann, 62, of Casper, Wyo., passed away peacefully on Jan. 12, 2025. Born in Portsmouth on Dec. 15, 1962, Michele was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose joyful spirit and adventurous nature touched everyone who knew her. The daughter of Lawrence (Bud) and Karyl Wiser, Michele grew up in a Coast Guard family, living in various places throughout her childhood. One of her fondest memories was living in Mobile, Ala.

    Mrs. Evelyn June (Wikstrom) Mears Benthall, 93, a resident of Williamsburg, and a longtime resident of Parksley, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2025. Born Sept. 5, 1931, in Hampton, she was the daughter of the late Karl Erik Wikstrom and the late Elfrieda Marie Sophia (Schneider) Wikstrom. She was a graduate of Parksley High School, the best mother to her children, a wonderful cook, and a devout Christian.

    Mr. Donald “Donnie” Edward Kellam Jr., 68, of Exmore, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. He was predeceased by his parents, Donald E. Kellam Sr. and Mary Richardson Kellam, and his wife of 35 years, Susan H. Kellam. Donnie is survived by his son, Ryan K. Kellam (Kimberly); grandchildren, Chandler T. Kellam and Hudson K. Kellam; brothers, Terry L. Kellam and Jerry L. Kellam; many nieces and nephews; his companion of nine years, Debbie L.
