During my 3rd year of college, I realized how much I hated my body. I was over 200 pounds and wanted to stop my weight increase at all costs. I decided to make a change with 2 goals in mind: Build up enough stamina to run a 5k every other day, and eventually lose 50 pounds. I was never much of a runner (I placed nearly last in every elementary school cross-country meet!) and I knew jogging was a good way to burn consistent fat.
