This movie includes every grizzled detective cliche in the crime movie book … and I freaking loved it. Jude Law plays an FBI agent who is not so much a human being as he is an angry open wound. He chain smokes, his family is gone, he’s got a health problem he’s ignoring and he has escaped a brutal career dealing with the worst the mafia has to offer in exchange for a quiet life as the only FBI agent (initially) in the Rocky Mountains. The federal agency reported a small earthquake — so small that most people probably did not feel it — happened at about 3:40 a.m. northwest of Clinton. The agency listed it as having a magnitude of 2.0. That’s a weak earthquake, or microearthquake, that is usually is not felt by most people.

Union Health signed an agreement to acquire Terre Haute Regional Hospital in September 2023. Both companies are working on the proposal with the Indiana Department of Health.

Update: WTWO has received an update from Rick Burger of Duke Energy regarding this morning’s power outage. “The wind caused several wires to come down on cross arms and caused them to catch fire,” Burger said. Burger pointed out that their priority was getting power back to Woodrow Wilson Middle School. “We worked closely with the school to give them an estimated time of the power being restored. They had students in the school at the time,” Burger said.

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WMBB) — A man who violated a custody agreement and left Mississippi with a child was arrested during a traffic stop in Panama City, police said. On Thursday, officers with the Panama City Police Department stopped an SUV for a traffic infraction at the intersection of U.S. 98 and Michigan Avenue. During the stop, officers were informed that the vehicle and the registered owner were suspected to be involved in a kidnappingcase out of Olive Branch, MS.
Sex offender charged with rape of 12-year-old

GREENE COUNTY (Ind.) — A registered sex offender from Santa Clara, California is now charged with child molesting and rape after he contacted a 12-year-old girl on Snapchat, according to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies with the agency said the investigation began after the victim’s family reported her missing. A short time after that report was filed the girl returned home.
