HOUSTON – In July 2024, KPRC 2 teamed up with Moody Gardens on a special project highlighting the vibrant life of coral reefs in the Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary. KPRC 2 Chief Meteorologist Anthony Yanez joined a group of marine conservationists from Moody Gardens and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) on an assignment where he explored the coral reefs in the Gulf.
