StatenParliament will have to sit in some form, before it is dissolved, so there is money to pay public servants, contractors etc etc (The Oppn leader has already said he will not try form a govt with the Greens... so, looks like an election).

If it is about the state's debt and deficit - what is @DeanWinterMP's solution? Cut spending? If so, where and when? Or increased/new taxes? It is not clear to me what Tasmania Labor is offering. It also backs a stadium.

Speaker Michelle O’Byrne - ‘the die is cast… the state is on the path for an early election”. On the issue of supply (the budget was only handed down last week). There’s only two months of money left. Says parliament needs to meet ASAP to consider that. Votes with Labor
