Borno state governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, Monday, ordered the immediate prosecution of Bukar Modu, a man shown in a disturbing viral video allegedly molesting a minor (Bashir Gaji). Following the governor’s directive, Bukar Modu was arrested by the security operatives Saturday night at Umarari in Maiduguri. Zulum gave the prosecution order on Sunday when he met with little Bashir Gaji at the Government House, Maiduguri.

Borno state governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, Sunday evening, paid a condolence visit to the governor of Katsina state, Dikko Radda, over the death of his mother, Hajjiya Safra’u Umaru, in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. Hajiya Sarafa’u Umaru died Saturday night at the age of 93. She has been laid to rest Sunday in Radda village, Katsina.
