(Reuters) - Wipro, India's fourth-largest software company, posted a bigger-than-expected fourth-quarter revenue on Friday, aided by firmer profit margins and a recovery in its consulting business. The company's consolidated revenue decreased 4.2% to 222.08 billion rupees ($2.66 billion) in the January-March quarter, but beat analysts' expectation of 221.51 billion rupees, as per LSEG data.

MUMBAI (Reuters) - Global companies are setting up more offices in India and expanding in-house teams but that does not mean the end of the road for Indian IT firms, which rely heavily on outsourcing deals, executives said at a Nasscom event last week. Companies opened 118 global capability centers (GCCs) in India over the past two years in a boost to 'insourcing' efforts, taking their total count to over 1,620, February data from the industry body showed.

BENGALURU, Feb 13 (Reuters) - LTIMindtree LTIM.NS, India's No.6 IT services provider by revenue, has identified two internal candidates for the top job as it is unlikely to extend CEO Debashis Chatterjee's term that is set to end next year, according to two persons familiar with the matter. Chief Operating Officer Nachiket Deshpande and President Sudhir Chaturvedi are the front-runners for the role as the board prefers to have an insider at the helm of the company, one of the persons said.
