Developed and published by The Planar Danse, The Fool’s Apprentice is a cosy 3d management Sim with Idle Elements. It’s hard to describe a game in a mere phrase, but The Fool’s Apprentice has made it very easy. If I am allowed to use a metaphor, this Ornamental cow has been a very interesting experience. Not fun. Not memorable. Just interesting. Beautifully corrupt, aimlessly gorgeous, attractively boring. There, a few more phrases to describe my experience. Nevertheless, let’s go into detail.

Cookie Run: OvenSmash is a new game in the Cookie Run franchise, originally meant for Steam on PC but delayed significantly until it was eventually set to release for Android and IOS. It is rare to see in this day and age that a game made for Android or IOS would have some love behind it. Following the success story of Cookie Run: Kingdom has been a great adventure with their latest edition to the party, OvenSmash.

Developed and published by Kabum, Cube Snake is a game of Snake in a 3d environment. I receive games to review on a week-to-week basis. Sometimes, it may come early, sometimes it may be late, but everytime, it is something new. I like to think that every game has something great to offer, not all games are fun or worth my time but atleast, they are trying something. Keep that in my mind, when I say that Cube Snake made me fear that it was eating my PC’s innards via a crypto scam.

Developed by Math Tide and published by Thermite Games, LONESTAR is a strategic Roguelike spaceship deck builder. I found myself truly surprised by LONESTAR. I know I have said this a few times now, maybe I just discovered love for Rogue-like Card Battles, I don’t know. What I do know is that I had fun playing LONESTAR. However, this praise must come with an *asterix* for the word ‘Had’ holds much value today. My time enjoying LONESTAR was cut short, not long after I just got the hang of it.

Developed by Dino Rocket and published by Fireshine Games, Kādomon: Hyper Auto Battlers is, as the name suggests, an auto-battler with a creature collector element. Auto Battlers are dumb, but sometimes you can get away with it by adding some additives. While Creature collecting could play that role, Kādomon: Hyper Auto Battlers fails heavily—just a generic take on something already boring.
